‘Linking nature conservation with rural livelihoods through tourism-related conservation enterprises’

 Conservation enterprises in tourism have been established and promoted as an option for enhancing nature conservation and rural livelihoods. However, their contribution to livelihoods and nature conservation has not been widely researched in terms of actors, networks and institutional arrangements. Rita’s study evaluates the role of conservation enterprises in tourism to nature conservation. It establishes the role of the enterprises to rural livelihoods and the actors, interactions and institutional arrangements exist in the enterprises.
