Windhoek/Coastal Namib, Namibia

In the third Young Leaders Team meeting the 12 members will get-together and discuss the progress on their research proposals, their experiences in the field and the research results gathered. They will again have a chance to learn from local and international experts as well as from each other. Next to meetings and seminars, the Team will get the chance to apply and further develop their skills during a five day educational tour visiting several Namibia conservancies at different stages of development.

Nairobi/Amboseli, Kenya

In the second Young Leaders Team meeting the 12 members will get-together and discuss the progress on their research proposals and preparations for field work. They will again have a chance to learn from the experts as well as from each other. Next to meetings and seminars, the Team will get the chance to apply and further develop their skills during a five day educational tour through Amboseli National Park.

Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Research-subgroups will present their preliminary ideas and results in relation to the topics of value-chain analysis, policy arrangements, management/planning and capacity building/education. The project team will provide input and collectively develop a more detailed research agenda.
